Our Activities

How the Foundation Operates

Fundacja Na Rzecz Rozwoju Sportu CERBER translates its statutory goals into real-world action through a range of programmes and activities. Our work reaches individuals, clubs, communities, and institutions — all united by the common thread of sport as a vehicle for positive change.

Below is an overview of the main activity areas in which the foundation is active. Each area corresponds directly to the goals registered in the foundation's statutory documents and carried out in fulfilment of its mission.

Youth Sport Development

One of the foundation's most important activity areas is the direct support of young athletes across Poland. We work to ensure that financial circumstances do not determine whether a young person can pursue their sporting potential.

Our youth development activities include:

  • Direct material assistance — sports equipment, kit, and training materials
  • Financial support for athletes from low-income families
  • Connecting young athletes with clubs and coaching opportunities
  • Promoting talented youth athletes to a wider audience

Community Sport & Recreation

Sport at the community level is one of the most powerful tools for combating social isolation, inactivity, and pathologies. The foundation actively promotes physical culture and active recreation at the grassroots level, reaching communities throughout Poland.

Our community activities include:

  • Supporting local sports events and recreational activities
  • Promoting physical culture as a counter to social problems
  • Engaging families and communities in active recreation
  • Supporting the development of local sporting societies

Sports Club & Organisation Support

Sports clubs and organisations are the backbone of Polish sport. Without functioning clubs, young athletes have nowhere to train, compete, or develop. The foundation provides direct support to clubs and organisations aligned with our mission.

Support to clubs includes:

  • Material assistance — equipment, facilities, and resources
  • Financial assistance — both repayable and non-repayable
  • Promotional support to raise club visibility
  • Partnership building between clubs and other organisations

Social Assistance & Inclusion

Sport does not exist in isolation from society. The foundation recognises that for many athletes and families, broader social challenges must be addressed alongside sporting ones. Our social assistance activities are therefore an integral part of our mission.

Our social inclusion work includes:

  • Assistance to families in difficult life situations
  • Equal opportunity programmes for women and minors
  • Activities supporting people with disabilities
  • Promotion and organisation of volunteering in sport and community
  • Educational and upbringing activities through sport
  • Charitable activities for those most in need

Sports Infrastructure Development

Access to good facilities is a prerequisite for sport at any level. The foundation is committed to supporting the development and construction of sports infrastructure and recreational facilities — ensuring that communities have the spaces they need for physical activity.

Infrastructure activities include:

  • Supporting construction of new sports and recreational facilities
  • Assisting in the maintenance and improvement of existing facilities
  • Partnering with local authorities and organisations on infrastructure projects
  • Advocating for investment in community sports spaces
